Prompt of the Day: Secret Santa

“You get to choose one gift — no price restrictions — for any person you want. The caveat? You have to give it anonymously. What gift would you give, and to whom?” –The Daily Post

How can I choose just one person when there are so many who would deserve a gift? I have looked through my “mental contact list” and I can’t seem to choose one. I keep going back and forth on what and who to choose. Here’s my written out idea list (loophole! 😉 ):

  • Parents – Private Jet because they deserve to be able to go anywhere they want, whenever they want
  • Aunt Jodi – The ability to work her dream job here so that she can spend more time with family
  • John H. – A miracle drug so that he becomes healthy again
  • The Homeless – A home with free meals and everything they need
  • The Hungry – Unlimited meals, enough to last them a lifetime
  • The Lost – A Bible, so that God can show them the way

There are so many others that are very deserving of a gift. It feels impossible to choose. However, I know that the best choice would be to find someone who is so lost in their ways, who has parted from God, and give them a Bible. It’s an inexpensive gift, I know, but the reward is priceless. I don’t have anyone in particular in mind, but I know there any many out there that are lost. If they could just find their way to God, they would receive the most amazing gift imaginable: SALVATION.
